General Rules



1.    The track official’s decision is final. The flagman is in charge of the pulling track at all times.  Any arguing with a track official will result in disqualification for the days pulling event.

2.    Your tractor must meet all safety and shielding requirements prior to pulling or you will not pull.

3.    Anyone who attempts to misrepresent a tractor will not be allowed to compete with the Ohio Garden Tractor Pullers Association, for the time period of one year and a day from the violation.

4.    All pullers are to sign the waiver at registration. Pullers under 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian. During registration you will draw for pulling position in the classes you wish to compete.

5.    Pulling open to rear wheel drive tractors only. No, dual wheels, tire chains, studded tires,      ATV tires, mini sprint car tires. No (4) four wheel drive tractors.

6.    Four stroke cycle engines only, except Outlaw Class.

7.    Pullers are to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times

8.    Pullers must have their tractors under control at all times. No unsafe operation of the tractor on or off the track will be tolerated.

9.       No Fighting.

10.      No drinking of alcoholic beverages or use of illegal drugs will be permitted on the grounds of an event. No intoxicated or drug impaired puller will be permitted to pull.

11.     Refunds for scratching will not be issued after the class has started.

12.      All tractors must be register before the first hook of their class begins.
 
13.    Tractors may pull more than once per event, but may only pull once per weight class.

14.    Tractors should weigh in a have all tech inspections completed early. All tech inspections will take place in the staging area near the scales.
 
15.    Tractors will be weighed and have hitches checked with driver in the seat with safety gear on board.

16.    Tractors may have weights moved after weigh in as long as no additional weight is added. All tractors will re-weigh and hitch check immediately after unhooking from the sled at the end of pull.
